Clyde Draughon loves to paint in watercolor, trying to achieve a loose, smooth, luminous effect. As a Master Gardener, he is naturally drawn to flowers as a favorite subject. Travel is a source of inspiration for his landscapes. He enjoys painting on location and is an active participant with Plein Air Painters of the Atlanta Area.

As a Signature Member of the Georgia Watercolor Society and a Merit Member of the Atlanta Artists Center, Clyde’s paintings have been juried in many regional and national exhibitions. Clyde won awards in the Georgia Watercolor Society 2007 National Exhibition, the Southern Watercolor Society 2007 Exhibition, and first place in watercolor in the NCAL 2008 Regional Exhibition.
