ONE OF A KIND, AT A TIME...

We made that committment in 1991, and continue to benefit from the unique distinction of handmade clayworks. In the last 18 years we have produced over 100 tons of clay. Made-by Hands has become a lifestyle in our North Georgia studio.

Working "One of a Kind... One at a Time", provides wonder to everyday in the studio. Each slab of clay is given my personal touch. That touch translates as tactile message, for one specific individual.

As I unload a kiln, I wonder who will hold my work? In what city? Will it be a gift? Or for themselves??? How will they use it??? And so on.

The creative connection travels, between artist's imagination, the purpose for the work, and the customer. It holds a specific moment, linking thoughts or imaginations, and possibilities. That's curious and fascinating, just like placing a message in a bottle, and tossing it out to sea..wonder where it goes?
